Johnny Is A Part Of Everton
Bookmark and Share

Johnny Heitinga is fast coming a firm favourite with the Everton fans.  His performance against Sunderland was again of the highest order. He was bombing on in the latter stages showing great desire.

He has probably been our best player this season and he looks very comfortable in the Everton way of things way.

He is a happy bunny at the moment, hopefully happier after the game against the redshite.

Johnny said: "I'm very hopeful of winning something here and I'd love to play in Europe with Everton too. We need to finish above Liverpool and as high as possible.

"The club is a part of me now. I really enjoy it here and I'm happy that I'm a part of Everton.

"I've got another two years left. I've said it before, I'm very happy here. Everton is a good club for me."

"Those games are really big and different to other games. We all know how much they mean to the fans and of course that is the same for the players. It's two teams from the same city, the stadiums are so close together, so it's always one you look forward to

"The confidence is there and the atmosphere is really good. I'm excited and looking forward to the game."

He is fast becoming one of Moyes best buys. Bit like Baines took a while to get going and command a regular place in the team but now looks top class and right at home in the centre of the defence. I honestly believe he will make the difference tomorrow! There is no way he will let that runt Suarez past him!

He's done the business this season and his elan and presence has rubbed off in the squad, the performances and the fans. He has class, he should start and I hope this weekend we are top class and win.

You dont play as a central defender in the World Cup, against the best strikers around and reach the finals if your no good, just needed to be played in his proper position to show his true worth.

I hear that every year, on his birthday, Johnny Heitinga randomly selects one lucky child to be thrown into the sun. Also when he jumps into a puddle he doesn't get wet the puddle gets Johnny. CHUCK NORRIS WEARS JOHNNY HEITINGA PYJAMAS!

Oohhhhh Johnny Johnny! Becoming a favourite by now. Player of the season for me. Formed solid partnerships with Distin, Jags, Duffy and even Hibbo. You see real devotion from him and off the fans. Always last to leave the pitch after thanking all 4 corners of the ground.

Everton are really coming good now. What a squad - we are starting to look the business. A bit of patience and faith in Moyes goes a long way. And thanks to players like Johnny who have stuck with us. Now for the FA Cup. The redshite with a duff goalie shouldn't be too much trouble. Can't wait!
