Nikica Jelavic has deservedly won Aprils Premier League's Player of the Month.

Our goal machine has six goals in the month against Norwich, Man Utd and Fulham. We have a player on our hands you know.

Jela said: "I am really pleased to have won this award. Everyone at Everton has been very good to me since I arrived at the Club and I am glad that I have been able to reward the fans for their fantastic support.

"Awards are always nice and this one shows how well the team is doing just now. We are playing some great football and we are creating chances, which for a centre-forward is obviously very important.

"We are finishing the season really well and we hope to end with two more wins from our last two games."

Sorry AJ1878. Did I miss the billionaire backer introduced to Bill by Blue Union? Support Moyes and Kenwright and be careful what you wish for (Lerner, Morgan, the jokers at QPR etc etc)

The reason why we dont like the Blue union is the fact that they are a bunch of Cake carrying Clowns who embarrass our great club, and seem to want to replace Moyesie and Kenwright with Homer & Crusty. We dont need Knob Heads who only know how to complain. Get your Arses on here and Give Moyes, Kenwright and the Players a bit of credit, instead of sitting in the boozer Moaning. COYB

Well all I can say is WOW! what a player Jelavic is its a great signing for the club and he and only he deserves that award. His finishing has been superb he doesn't just lash his foot at the ball it's a finess finish most of the time which tells all us Evertonions what a world class striker we have. And again its hats off to Moyes, His scouting team and most of all to Mr Kenwright for not wasting the little money we have on utter POO!! like our BITTER neighbours, I rate this fella well better than Dzeko aswell. Next season REDSHITE or Jela is gonna do you's.

This forum is always full of Blue Union haters, give them a break. If everyone got behind them we wouldn't have to settle for a stop gap like Jelavic, Messi would be our no 9!!!!!!!!

what about a new song for our future number 9 Jelly man Jelavic! I think this is quite catchy (obviosuly i would if i thought of it!!) and is song you can scream from your lungs so should create a great noise around the ground. To the tune of piano man (Billy Joel) "We said Moyes can you play Nika Jelavic, We love when he scores us a goal, With his head and his feet, he'll score at glawyds street, and the Goodison roar grows and grows! Score us a goal your the jellyman! Score us a goal tonight, with your head and your feet we will never get beat when jelly man scores us a goal! i know we won't win them all but hey... here's hoping!

err-hum... he also scored against somebody else in April, but the less said about that game, the better. I totally agree with your sentiment - this fella is the business. We have a player there, and I also believe that if we re-sign Peanuts we have a team that can achieve something. Thank you Moyesie (again) for delivering something from virtually nothing, and thank you Blue Bill for keeping the soul of Everton intact for another season, even if we are skint.

Well deserved Nik !! ... Thank You for choosing to come to Everton. Your services are more than welcome at Goodison Park. We have needed a proper goalscorer for so long and our prayers have now been answered BIG TIME. Hopefully a spokesman for the Blue Union will join me in saying a big well done to Moyes & Kenwright for bringing you here. COYB.
