Captain Phil Doing His Badges
Bookmark and Share

Phil Neville will not be using this Everton close season to put his feet up and top up his tan in the Seychelles, instead he is going to be working.

Captain Phil has been working to gain his UEFA 'A' licence  and is keeping us up to date with his progress on Twitter.

Our Captain wants to move into coaching and management once he hangs his boots up so he needs his licence to achieve his ambitions.

Captain Phil said: 'I'm looking forward to the break.'

'I'm doing my 'A' licence coaching badges this summer, which is important. You've got to prepare for the next stage in your life and that's what I've got to do. But I'm going to rest up because next season's a big season for everyone at the Club.'

The 13-day coaching course covers all aspects of the game, with Neville recounting via Twitter his focus on areas such as 'individual coaching', 'attacking from wide areas', 'defending against three mobile centre forwards' and 'defending from the front'.

Three mobile centre forwards! Jesus Phil, can't wait to watch your team playing, you want to get Moyesy down there with you!
