McAleny Close To New Everton Contract
Bookmark and Share

Conor McAleny is close to agreeing a new contract with Everton.

Everton fans will remember him coming on as a sub at the Emirates to make his debut against Arsenal last season. A game were he could have scored. From March he went on loan to Scunthorpe until the end of the season.

With the senior players having a longer Summer rest, the 19-year-old has been involved in all the pre-season fixtures so far.

Having been at the academy from eleven, the coaches obviously think he has what it takes. Conor could be knocking on the door this season and save cash strapped Everton a few bob in the process.

Hiutsuri, comment #1.. If the tatts remind you too much of Tim Cahill and you're finding it a too hard to bear, then I feel your pain. But that one game McAleny played against the Arse was all I needed to see that the kid's got mad skills. If he keeps playing like that he can have all the tatts he wants. At the time (like Rooney) we lacked a lot up top and a Firecracker that had a tendency to catch fire now and again was all we could "Count" on. But then January happened. And before we knew it, we were dishing out that all American delicacy of Peanut butter and Jelly sarnies to the opposition. A dish ManU is still finding hard to swallow xD. If only we could stick with the American theme and sign Landon Donovan.
