Gibbo Wants More Goals
Bookmark and Share

Darron Gibson is aiming to improve on his scoring record next season.

Gibbo has bagged just once so far for The Toffees but it was a sweet one, against his old arch-rivals Sitteh. He has also yet to finish on the losing side in a Premier League game since joining from Manure in January, his aim is now for more goals.

Daz said: 'More goals would be my main aim and obviously just to keep the performances going and hopefully the team can finish higher than last year.'

'Everyone is buzzing to be back, everyone is looking like they are getting fit and the games come thick and fast now so we are looking forward to it.'

'The first few games I probably wasn't as good as I was in the last few games, but the goal against City settled my nerves a bit, got me into my stride and playing well, it did settle me down.'

'I probably didn't expect to play as much to be honest. I expected to get some games but I didn't expect to start every game I was fit and available for, which I was delighted with.'

'Obviously when I came in the team was on a roll, everyone was playing well and it helped me out a lot. So hopefully we can keep going from the way we played last year and kick on.'

The winner in the opening game against his old club would be nice.

From what i saw against Newcastle on the last day of the season he had several pops at goal and was encouraged to do so, some screamers too. I am certain Everton will work in training on putting the ball to him in the right position to use his scoring prowess, as his shot is sensational. HE WILL SCORE GOALS I think there is money to be made for any punters, ie Gibson to score/Everton to win, ok he wont be in double figures, but when does he will be a good price and pay for the losing days..get yer shirt on it lads ! ! LES working for your wealth !
