Barkley Starts For England

Everton midfielder Ross Barkley started for England's under-21 side in a 2-1 win against Norway in Oslo in a UEFA European U21 Championships qualifier.

The 17 year old played 54 minutes of last night's game and laid on the winner. This was Barley's first start for the U21's, although he has made two appearances as a sub in games against Israel and Iceland.
