Cahill Helps Ten Men Australia Gain A Point
Bookmark and Share

Tim Cahill was back in the starting eleven for Australia in the 1-1 draw against Japan in Brisbane.

Team manager, Holger Osieck brought in the Everton player for some no-mark called Harry Kewell.

Cahill was his busy usual self and had a few opportunities to score before the game was turned on its head when Aussie substitute, Mark Millighan was sent off for a second yellow.

Japan seized their chance and went 1-0 ahead, but the Socceroo's came back to secure a point over the group leaders with a penalty near the end.

Time for a rest now Tim. Enjoy!
