Johnny Heitinga says nothing short of victory will do against Germany in tonight's Euro 2012 Group B game.

A win is vital for the Netherlands, supposedly one of the Euro 2012 favourites, after they lost their opening game by the one goal to Denmark.

Johnny said: 'It is going to be a battle but we have to show that we can become champions.'

'We have to win now, there's no excuse, and we are aware of that. We know we have to win against the Germans.'

The Dutch were guilty of wasting a number of chances against Denmark and the 2010 World Cup losing finalists risk being knocked out of the competition in the group stages if they lose to Germany.

Good luck Johnny, we'll all be watching.
