Following the success of 'The FA Cup for a Fiver' initiative against Tamworth in the third round, Everton repeating the scheme for the 4th Round visit of Premier League Fulham on Friday night
Any supporter under 16 years of age can gain admission for the tie for £5 and more than 3,000 have already taken advantage. Everton are hoping to top the figure of 4,700 teenagers who paid a fiver to watch the 3rd Round victory.
The ticket pricing for FA Cup games has to be agreed between the two clubs and Everton had to negotiate at length with Fulham to secure an agreement to keep kids' prices low.
They are hoping the initiative will pay off, with Fulham not expecting to bring many fans north for the cup tie.
Well done Everton. Let's hope the old Lady is packed and the kids get something to shout about in the playground and Monday, we do not want to send them home traumatised!
