Everton will show their solidarity for the victims of the Hillsborough disaster and their families by paying their own tribute at tonight's game with Newcastle.
Two mascots, one wearing a Liverpool kit and one an Everton kit, will lead out the teams at Goodison. Both mascots will have '96' on the back of their shirts in a show of support to the fans that died at the tragedy in 1989.
In addition, all the ball boys and girls will have '96' on their backs and there will also be a video montage on the giant screens.
Just like in the FA Cup Semi-Final in April this year, let's hope every Evertonian in the ground is solidly behind this tribute and pays total respect and that the Geordies do too. Let's show our class once again.
