More Diniyar Bilyaletdinov (Billy)
Everton midfielder Diniyar Bilyaletdinov is back in Russia preparing for the European Championship Group B game against Armenia on Saturday (Kick-Off 5.00pm).
A win in St Petersburg will take Russia top of the Group, but maybe only for a few hours. The Republic of Ireland - Seamus Coleman and all will join them at the top if they win against The Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM to their mates). This game kicks off at 9.30pm.
Bily said: "Armenia are a very mobile and well-organised team, they move fast from defence to attack and their counter-attacks are always dangerous
. They're a technically-gifted team and not easy opponents. But we're playing at home, and we need three points."

Well said Rich. He clearly has class when playing to his strengths. Some of his goals have been vital and superb.
But i agree he is a pretty frustrating character on the pitch a lot of the time.

To be fair the best game he's had for us was when he played in the middle and kept swapping with Ossie behind the striker two years ago against Utd. He'd get a bit more space in the middle to pick out the pass or to shoot.

Richard, Deeside, i totally agree with you there mate, fair enough the lad has had poor games but he is a quality player and a great asset to the club give him a proper run in the team in a more attacking position and the lad will do wonders. Hes a typical russian player who can only play in one place, look at arshavin, he is useless unless he is sitting upfront, want Billy to stay!

I can't believe some of our fans, the guy has not played one game in his preferred position and the position he excels in on the international stage... so you choose to attack him and attempt to hound him out of the club. He's never moaned, not been disruptive, he's sucked it all up and that to me deserves a little more support. Hopefully, DM will give him a sustained run in the team and then we will see the real Diniyar Bilyaletdinov.

I suggest some of those knocking Billy watch the lad play in his preferred position for Russia and see how much more effective he can be.

Agreed Joel and no mistake hope they revoke his visa! Lets sell him back to the Russians,then Yobo & Yak then sign Ba, and look at King at Leicester he is DM type of signing.

I'm with Joel. Have a blinder Billy so someone gives us a decent price to put towards a striker. He's too weak to play central and one piece of good play every twenty games is not good enough.

Play him in the centre of midfield and not on the wing this season please!
He is as much a winger as liverpool fans are well behaved!

Stay there and don't come back Billy lad! Complete waste of money and surely we could recoup most of the money spent on him and use it on someone useful.
