Jack Rodwell played in England U21's 2-0 win over Norway at St. Mary's, Southampton.

It was the final Euro warm-up game before the European Under-21s Championship start in Denmark.

Jack will hopefully be in the starting line up for the opening game against Spain next Sunday 12th June 2011.

The lads been injured. I don't think its the 25 Million link that is the problem he has always stated he loves Everton. I hope he is not another Rooney but there is no indication he has a desire to leave at least from the Press anyway. He needs a good pre-season and tournament football will not help in that preparation certainly not in the early weeks of the new season. He is not the finished article by a country mile but he is an a natural athlete and I believe if he can stay clear of injury he could be very special. That Why Man UTD,City are interested.

I get the feeling his form has to do with the fact that he's on his way and everyone knows it. So he played not to get hurt. If he gets injured his price goes down. The Mancs had a bad experience with Hargreaves so if they re in the frame they won't want to get stung twice.

I think Jack Rodwell wants to get his head down and concentrate on Everton. All the talk of 25 million pound moves away from the club can't be doing the lad any good. I can't see how he is worth that because I haven't seen enough of him and that's my point. He needs to get into Everton's first 11 week in week out and perform.
