Struggling Joseph Yobo's injuries are behind him and the captain is ready to lead out Nigeria in their next game.
The Super Eagles take on Rwanda in a Nations Cup Qualifier on June 17th.
Media Officer, Ben Alaiya, says Joey's healing process has assumed a faster dimension than the medics at his Turkish club, Fenerbahce had thought and he was sure he would be available for the game against Rwanda, who was held to a goalless draw in the first leg of the Nations Cup qualifier in Kigali.
Joey said: 'The mere fact that the team was able to get a win against Namibia after squandering several chances, should give Nigeria hope that this is a team for the future and sooner than later they will be scoring the number of goals that the fans want.'
'We need a few experienced players to join this squad and we will become the greatest national team in Africa. For me, I'm praying that I should be ready for the game against Rwanda, I'm really missing my teammates on the pitch.'
Now that you are fit Joey, get that transfer to Fenerbache sorted out quick please.
