I do not understand why there are these idiotic friendlies a few days before the start of the Premiership/league season can someone enlighten me ? I hope the managers say directly "up yours" as this is just pathetic planning and must cause so much disruption to team planning so close to the start of the season. Surely the powers that be get the message when so many players pul out
