If you are waiting on your Everton Encyclopedia to drop through your door then you will have to wait just a little while longer as there has been a delay in production.
De Coubertin Books sent out the following message today:
"Dear deCoubertin Books Customer
We're writing to you in relation to your order of the Everton Encyclopedia.
When you placed your order with us over the summer we had anticipated the books being with you at the end of September. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, publication of this book has been delayed until later this month. We're very sorry and frustrated and disappointed about this delay.
The books were due to be delivered from the printers to our warehouses a fortnight ago, but are still being worked on. We worked incredibly hard to meet all our deadlines and get the files delivered to our print partners at the end of August, and while this was a technically demanding job we could never have anticipated that they would take so long working to get the books ready. They have now advised us that books will be at our warehouses on the week commencing 22 October.
We will be dispatching them to customers who ordered them via the website as soon as we receive them, and those who ordered the Legends edition will receive them via recorded delivery.
As a token of goodwill and a thank you for your continued patience, all customers who ordered the Everton Encyclopedia prior to 4 October will receive with their order a copy of author James Corbett's acclaimed history of the England football team, England Expects, worth £12.99 free of charge.
We hope that this goes some way to rectifying any inconvenience that you may have encountered.
Kind regards
deCoubertin Books Ltd"
The Everton Encyclopedia will be well worth waiting for.
