Jack Can Fill Our Tater's Boots

Who will fill Our Tater's boots? 'Me!' says Our Jack.

Jack says he feels 'sharp and focused' and is ready to fill the void on the Everton left side following the departure of the best little Spaniard we know to The Arse.

Our Jack, who has been continuously linked with a move to Manure, has struggled with injury problems at Goodison which has limited him to 41 starts in the last three years.
However, Jack has enjoyed a good pre-season and is looking to have a big impact this season, especially in light of Our Tater's sudden departure to link up with Arsenal on transfer deadline day.

Our Jack said: 'He's a great player, he's a good lad as well'.

'He'll be sorely missed but it's a good opportunity for him and we've got a lot of young players who can fill in.'

'Am I ready to step up and fill his boots? Yeah, definitely. I'm ready now. I feel fit, I feel sharp and focused.'

'What I've been missing in my career is 30 back-to-back games and getting a good run of form and confidence. So hopefully this season I can do that. This is the season for me. Last season was frustrating. I couldn't really get a pattern of football going and I wasn't really fit.'

Over to you Jack, show us the future and that we will not miss Mikky, starting with a match winning performance against Villa.

Can Jack fill the boots of the best little Spaniard we knew? What do you think?

Hope Jack is right. Be great to see a youngster developed by the club come good and stay.

Can we put Arteta to bed as far as we Evertonians are concerned? Time for us to look forward..hopefully the younger group of players we have in our team/squad will raise their game and come to the fore. Only time will tell. Nobody is bigger than Everton Football Club.

Just Shoot Jack. Just let the Firecracker knock them in at close range when The keeper saves them and they fall to his feet...

Well this will be the year where we find out if he is a multi-million pound wonder kid or just another average Premiership footballer. It's all in his hands now to prove himself.

Injury problems aside, the real obstacle I think Jack faces is from what most young English talent suffers. Believing in all the hype!!! One flash in the pan performance and they think they're the next George Best. His performance are average at best for a while now in the handful of games he played. So forget about replacing Arteta. he should focus on not being so damn average first!!

I am a gunner but I follow a lot of football. And your club is one I have enjoyed watching since your heady days in the old first division. Football is made of ups and downs and maybe this is your down era. However I can assure you that one day you will return where you belong like in the old days. Jack is a player I have always followed with interest and personally I feel that is can become international material if only he can play back to back games regularly. The fact that he can play in more than one position speaks volumes for the lad. Jack can fill the gap by Arteta, but only if he is made one of the main men and not be considered as a replacement. Jack is a strong lad both mentally and physically. Watch him go and support him....and he will make you proud.

Not sure he's up to it tbh. But it's about time we found out once and for all what this lad truly has in his locker.

Nice one Jack, now all you have to do is prove it. You can start by getting forward more and making some through passes instead of playing Keep Ball.
