Blues youngster Luke Garbutt has gone to Cheltenham on a month's loan.

Garbutt, who has become a regular in the reserves, can either pay left back or in midfield and is an England under 19 international.

He will now go and get some lower league experience and may go straight into the Cheltenham squad for their League Two game against Bristol Rovers this weekend.

Cheltenham boss Mark Yeates said: "He has been a very good youth player, he's stepped up well to reserve football and now he is looking to take the next step in his career by getting involved in and around our first team."
