Win Games To Lift Gloom

Moyesy said it's the responsibility of him and the players to lift the gloom around the place and the way he intends to do it is to win games. Yes please David, starting with Fulham

David Moyes said: "The only negativity there is is because of how the team play. We have not played well enough. It is nothing to do with the board of directors or the chairman, it is to do with me and the team.

"We have got to do better on the pitch. If the team plays better it lifts the mood and people change. We need to perform better and win more often. If we do that it will change everything. Winning football games is always the answer so I will take responsibility for that."

"The team plays better, it lifts all the mood. We need to perform better, we need to win more often, and if we do that it changes everything.

"Winning football games is always the answer, so I'll take responsibility for that."

Moyes says he is frustrated! What about the paying fans? Attempting to attract or deflect the blame for the current situation is a smoke screen, and a 'quick fix' with an ageing squad may get us through this season, but what about the next few seasons? Therefore, the underlying problems do lie with the board. They cannot solely rely on the loyalty of the fans all of the time. It is a reciprocal relationship. We support the club and players and management and in return we expect to be entertained and kept informed. "Winning football games is always the answer, so I'll take responsibility for that." A very noble statement from the manager, in an attempt to shoulder the blame, but we are being caught by teams who are being invested in, and who are mapping out their futures, with long term plans. Not only do we need to 'stem the tide' on the pitch, but we also need to plan ahead, with certainty for the future, and in the current climate this is not happening. In sitting twiddling their thumbs hoping for a lottery win, the board are exacerbating the problem and creating uncertainty.

Dont put yourself down too much the team has to be financed properly and we have not seen a proper cash signing till Gibson. Without doubt the team has just not performed Howard has probably been our best player even Bainesy is below par. We need to enter a season for once feeling slightly upbeat you knew its was going to be tough by all the negative crap coming out the club. The Rebuilding has to start Blue Bill are you Listening? Season tickets will deffo go down otherwise the football has been awful.

Talk is cheap Mr Moyes. We would struggle to put decent 45 minutes together out of 22 games already played. That is how bad we are. I'm absolutely certain that nobody will buy end of season DVD, unless we will stay up, yet again, by a single goal... We not scoring enough and that is the biggest worry. There is almost nothing positive in the season, no matter how optimistic you are. I'm afraid that Bainesy back bone will crack one day - just like Scott Parker when at West Ham. Bainesy can't carry whole team on his back for the entire season. He just can't.

A billion is what? A thousand million? If I had £100,000, I'd invest in the club. Why is the board worth so much and can't see the need to give Everton a lift. Sack the board indeed! I think that Beatle bassist has more money than that Granchester bloke and he wont invest. Don't laugh, this is Everton and I'm hurt.

No sh!t sherlock! Try using some of the youts, playing players to their strengths and stop relying on the same old out of form players.

the team plays better when all are put in there proper positions and players that are out of form[you know who you are] are left out.also the manager needs to crawl out of the chairmans arsepipe and start speaking in a more positive tone.my god hes dreary.
