Tim Howard wants the fans to help the team get through the sticky patch. But he understands that the players have got to do their bit. Let's start with Friday night. Get Goodison rocking. A few beers down County Road, then onto Flares. What a night to be had.
Tim said:"The players are concentrating on the football side of it but you need to sense when the crowd is ready to come to the boil and really then push the tempo to do that for them.
"And conversely the responsibility is also as a supporter when they feel as if the team needs a bit of a pick me up, needs a bit of momentum, maybe has been under pressure - they can help to will us on a little bit.
"So there's a balance there but I think we get it right more often than not, that's one of the huge positives of playing at Goodison."
