Nikiac Jelavic Takes Centre Stage

At half-time last night in the match against Sitteh, our new signing Nikiac Jelavic (Jelly to his mates) was unveiled to the Goodison faithful.
The big Croatian striker certainly looked the part as he strode purposefully into the centre circle and held his new royal blue jersey aloft.
Our £8m signing from Glasgow Rangers is looking to go straight into the starting line up on Saturday at the DW Stadium against the Pie Eaters.
Will Moyesy play both Jelly and The Count up front together as we look to win three on the bounce?

Looked at his goals on you tube,most of them came from crosses and half with his head so he should fit in with our style of play.If he was a striker that feeds off through balls i think he would have struggled but hopefully we now have someone to convert all the crosses Baines throws over.Cant wait to see him in action.

BBC have said £5.5million. It would seem the £7million rejected from West Ham was because Jelavic wasn't prepared to leave for a Championship club
