Big Vic And The Lads Are Buzzing
Bookmark and Share

Victor Anichebe is hoping to get the nod to play on Saturday against the redshite. He did his super sub bit again on Easter Monday's win over Sunderland when he scored Everton's forth.

Has Vic got a chance to be in the starting eleven or will he be a bench man?

Big Vic said: "Everyone's buzzing but I think the manager and the coaching staff have done a really good job. We had to get these two games out of the way and if everyone was thinking about Wembley I don't think we would have won 4-0 or had a good result against Norwich."

I have never booed him, but he just isn't good enough. His goal the other day was a fluke. For such a big lad he goes down easier than Emile Heskey did and his touch is shocking. Give me Dennis or Vellios or Drenthe anyday.

I have always liked him since our days in The Europa league.... he has learned a lot of the last few seasons but still cant seem to produce the goods when given a full game... But I hope he gets a chance against L,pool and I dont care if he is sub or not, But a last minute Winner would do for me Victor! Or go and have a field day mate a bang in a hatrick!!!

I'm glad for him also but I can't see him making the starting eleven and only see him coming on if something drastic happens ie. red card, injuries or extra time, Can't wait til Saturday, COYB!!!!!

Everyone involved and around the club is buzzing, this trophy is long overdue and well deserved but still don't think Vics a starter, impact sub IMO. "if it ain't broke don't fix it"

No.1, '90% of fans love him'? He's got all the attributes but doesn't use them well enough. If he had half the desire of big Dennis then the fans would get behind him all the way. But just look at his attitude and his reaction to scoring, or did you see after the final whistle on Monday he couldn't get off the pitch fast enough.
