Distin In A Bad Place

It's going to take a bit of time for us all to get over this. One fella who may take longer is Sylvain Distin. It was Sylvain's mistake that let the shite back in the game.

Sylvain said: "I'm in a bad place. I keep getting flashbacks to it. I take full responsibility, because I know I've cost a lot of people their place in the final."

David Moyes said: "Sylvain is really down he has been here a couple of times before and won the cup with Portsmouth. He knows what it means and how important it is. Sylvain has been great for us but just today he made a mistake. We frustrated Liverpool and always felt we could nick a second goal in the second half but it wasn't to be.

When your player of the season makes his biggest mistake of the year and the opposition's worst player scores the winner you just know it's not your day. Sylvain you have been outstanding all season, shit happens, on Saturday it happened to you and us. Thanks for all your excellent performances this year, keep them up and sign a new contract.

Just fed up of the respect we show the RS. We need to get way more aggressive and up for these occasions. Also can Moyes explain why nobody was testing out the Jones fella he could hardly kick the ball.

OK Sylvain made a big error But also as did Coleman he should never of gone flying in for that tackle, At the time i was shouting {ok at the TV i was not there}}not to go diving in but to stand you could see what was going to happen he needs to learn FAST

Funny that I didn't here any of you 2 faced muppets calling for his head the day after we destroyed sunderland away!!! I'm not excusing the awful second half but Moyes didn't make those 2 shocking mistakes personally!!!!!

That's what happens when he's asked to do everything in yet another game! Moyes should be the one apologizing to distin for the unfair pressure heaped on him game after game it was goin to give somewhere we still love you sylvan! Coyb always next year

I can't believe what i am reading..... A leg weary Everton got sapped by Wembley in the second half and couldn't get to the ball. Distin made a mistake.. so what..he's a decent guy and a great pro. That did not lose the game...Small squad syndrome. We are some 45 games in now and the legs are gone. We scored off a mistake too so it balances out. There was nothing on the bench that could make a difference. Piennar was cuptied. Him and Baines would have torn the arse out of them...Thats the breaks people. No conspiracy or blames or anything else. The finger pointers are out!!...Here we go here we go here we go. Move on blues.... Only problem i have is the gloating gobshites. Just no class at all, but no difference, we always do our bit, JFT96

Don't get how so many 'fans' are back on the Moyes out bandwagon, Jesus before yesterday two defeats in something like 16, absolutely pathetic. He got it wrong yes, but too many players never turned up. Don't understand what Moyes is expected to do with his funds. Get a grip, before Moyes came we were fighting relegation. So called 'fans'. Pathetic!

Suarez always puts himself on Dizzy when we play. He turns him inside out, he`s our best defender but not against the nimble guys. Atleast Dizzy has the balls and humility to apologise and hope for our understanding, but why haven`t you Moyes? A self indulgent, self centred, narcissistic, 1-0 grinding out hopefully off to Spurs dick! In a decade I`ve never heard you say "I got it wrong"

Frustrate liverpool?! Nick a goal?!?!?! Fuck off Moyes! This is the worst liverpool side i've ever seen in 30 years as a blue and he wants to frustrate them and hopefully nick a goal?! Says it all really about Dithering Dour Dave. I'm fucking sick off it. Ramos was in charge of Spurs for 5 minutes and won them the league cup. 10 years and ONE final isn't good enough!! Cardiff have been to 2 finals, in 2 different competitions, with 2 different managers in that time. But hey, as the media like to point out, it's ok, "he's had no money".

Well done Distin for your apologies on the pitch. Most of the people whinging about the mistake would never admitt to their own mistakes. The game is all about skills on the day and like the artistry that you so often display the occasional mistake is part of this great game. Yes it is ok for anger but some of this tripe is mindless. Would they scream at the Olympics? Would they scream in the theatre? Hardly, but they will come up with the usual cry of high pay or professional etc. Thats the system not the individual.

He was poor yesterday though, lost most ariel balls with Carroll and then got turned by Suarez all game. I do agree he has been excellent for us.

Why the hell are people saying don't blame yourself slyvain. Of course he should blame himself it was pathetic. Yes he's been great but he cost us in the biggest game since the final in 2009. He should quite rightly be feeling shit right now because thats my assesment of what he did yesterday.

The goals were the result of schoolboy errors perhaps we should pay them schoolboy wages

Gutted and like most fans dreading going to work to face the gobshite fans, It don't matter how shit their form is they fucking always fluke it some how. Three nil down still win the euro cup. Get them selves in the shit with the banks and get bailed out. Seem to be able to beat united, city,Chelsea and arsenal in games that matter, Play shit against Cardiff and still win. And yesterday the the worst two players that could have scored did the racist rat who is the most vile man in football, and the donkey who at work the godshites have been slaggin off for weeks and now they'll think he worth 55million. So we've now lost three times to the shit, Lost the chance to win the FA cup, No europe next year, And we all know them jammy twats will lift another cup.

'nick a second goal' Really. Are you for real Moyes? We might nick a goal against Barca or Madrid. This is the worst Liverpool side in a generation, sitting 8th in the league and you thought we might 'nick a goal'. Take your multi million pound fortune and your negativity and go and play the Underdog somewhere else.

'It's going to take a bit of time...to get over this', whilst I like Distin (he's been great all season) and I would not blame any one individual, I've been going to Everton for fifity years now and I've had to swallow '71, '77, '84, '86 and '89. I wonder if any of them are wondering how long it will take for us to get over it? He can cheer himself up by buying himself a new Ferrari, I've got to go to work on Monday, beaten in a big game by the shite yet again.

Let it go Sylvain. The biggest mistake was employing Mr. Moyes in the first place. He has no concept of tactics. The team were doing what we were doing.... watching the game. NO passion, fight, or will to do better never mind win! Mr. Moyes failed at Preston, does anyone remember that? At Preston he was known by the fans as "Dithering Dave", doesn't that tell you something. alas, he won't be sacked due to his teflon skin. We played in to the redshite's hands and give it away.... they were there for the taking... and we failed. Why did he put Anichebe on.... there was no one to supply him anyway... can't blame the lad. So Mr. Moyes, when are you leaving?

I'm with Big Tommy; let it go Sylvain; it's done deal and the one mistake (big as it was) doesnt cover up the negative tactics - yet again employed by our illustrious leader. I have again read the comments circulating (think I have been doing this since the final whistle) - the latest being from 2 of my heros Howard and Baines - dont worry lad, the pitch was sticky. Nobodies fault then !!!! God help us.

Sylvain.Don't you dare blame yourself (though it really is your fault ;-)).You are one of our solid players and ALWAYS dependable & reliable. You are one of a few that is believed when you say you know how the fans feel.Truly you are a gentleman.I wish I could say the same about a lot of the others, including Davey.Still, lets 'Do' Utd and support whoever the shite play.Coyb.
