It looks like we have seen the last of Leighton Baines this season as injury will rule him out of the rest of the campaign.
Bainsey pulled up at Wembley in the closing minutes after stretching for the ball. It turns out he has a torn muscle. How ironic that Bainsey completes 99 consecutive games, Moyesy rests him before he reaches the 100 landmark and in the next game he gets injured!
The absence of the almost Bainesy will be a big blow for Moyes, who does not have a natural left back replacement for him in the ranks. Luke Garbett is out on loan so it looks like Captain Phil will switch to the left and Hibbo will return.
The injury is a 'grade two tear' that normally means up to a month on the sidelines, which in turn would mean his season would be over. Bainsey can then get himself fit for the Euro's.
