Bainsey Out For The Season
Bookmark and Share

It looks like we have seen the last of Leighton Baines this season as injury will rule him out of the rest of the campaign.

Bainsey pulled up at Wembley in the closing minutes after stretching for the ball. It turns out he has a torn muscle. How ironic that Bainsey completes 99 consecutive games, Moyesy rests him before he reaches the 100 landmark and in the next game he gets injured!

The absence of the almost Bainesy will be a big blow for Moyes, who does not have a natural left back replacement for him in the ranks. Luke Garbett is out on loan so it looks like Captain Phil will switch to the left and Hibbo will return.

The injury is a 'grade two tear' that normally means up to a month on the sidelines, which in turn would mean his season would be over. Bainsey can then get himself fit for the Euro's.

Wow Billy Sea, a fantastic idea. Yeah let's do a Wigan who stay up in the last week every season. Let's have a pop at Moyes. Great thinking, Victor and Coleman in your team. Amazing thinking, Moyes out Billy Sea in. Moyes gets on my tits at times but let's not make out we know more than him about football or that he's doing a poor job.

Cant we recall Garbutt. He's been impressive out on loan and it might be a good chance to give him a few games before the end of the season. Or we could go 343 or 352

What a terrible blow! I reckon he's been Player of the Season. Missing him means we'll have no threat down the left because Peanuts will be doubling back to cover for whoever plays left back. Nobody will be able to cross a ball the way Bainsey does. It also explains why he played so poorly at Wembley. WHEN ARE WE GOING TO GET SOME LUCK? :o(

Get better soon Bainsey. See you next season mate. Distin at left back, Jags back in the center.

Let's do a Wigan ! 3 at the back Jags, Johnny & Buzz, midfield 4 Coleman, Gibbo, Felli and Pienaar, 3 up front Tim, Victor & Jelli......or let's just try and contain Utd and catch 'em on the break David ! !

Moyes must have felt it in the force that's why he rested him. Get better Bainsey lad. Again you made the difference this year and gave us hope when there wasn't any.
