Johnny's Best Ever Season
Bookmark and Share

We all agree that Johnny has been different class this season. He was one of the lads who came out of the game last week-end with any credit.

Even Johnny reckons himself believes that this could be his best season ever. His effort this season should be rewarded with the armband. Make him captain next season Moyesy.

Who would your captain be?

Johnny said: "I think this is my best season for Everton so far and I hope I can keep the level up. It is one of my better seasons, maybe my best as a professional, but I am only 28 and there many years to come. I am only looking forward."

Been saying it from the first day he arrived! The guy is world class and the first season or two Moyes treated him like crap! Now he is in position funny enough the class comes through! We Need Johhny and Jags in the centre and yes Johhny our new Captain for many years to come!

Amazing how good someone is when you play them in their right position.

It's got better for Johnny since he stoped dreaming of Ajax. Funny that.

Johnny has been outstanding all season. Every game (and certainly the away games being very noticeable) he makes a point of coming over to the fans after the game and clapping them. In the centre he is an imposing figure and you feel he has complete control. his ball distribution is top class and that cheating Uruguayan was kept under. We needed a guy last Saturday who could G up the guys because Neville certainly can't!

In my view he has come of age with us and is a great asset to the team, perhaps 1st name on the sheet, Peanuts is if he stays (I pray he does). He has focus and fire in his belly for the team and this season he has bonded with the team and the fans. Manure oh for the days gone by when we rarely lost there .. I still say get in to them an dont sit back,,,Bainsey is a loss but after last week the team must show some guts and passion and believe.. COYB & IMWT, "Whats Our Name?"

I agree with this 100%, Nev's seen better days and for all his experience that is off quite a bit now with recent games in particular also the RB position should go first priority to Hibbo, but yes Johnny for the Armband!
