Leighton Baines was named in the PFA Premier League team of the year at the awards dinner on Sunday night.
As reports circulate of a possible £5m transfer to Manure (£5m! Are the Manc's havin' a laugh?) Bainsey makes a belated entry into the side ahead of Cashley after being overlooked last season.
This is the first time an Everton player has been included since 1990!!
PFA Premier League 'Team of the Year' was as follows:
Joe Hart (Manchester City),
Kyle Walker (Tottenham Hotspur), Vincent Kompany Manchester City), Fabricio Coloccini (Manchester City), Leighton Baines (Everton),
David Silva (Manchester City), Yaya Toure (Manchester City), Scott Parker (Tottenham Hotspur), Gareth Bale (Tottenham Hotspur),
Wayne Rooney (Manchester United),Robin van Persie (Arsenal).
Van Persie of Arsenal won the player of the year, and Kyle Walker of Spurs the young player of the year. There were no Everton nominees for either award.
Well done Bainsey, now stick with us in the summer - please!
