Peanuts Is Made For Everton

Everyone at Everton hopes that Steven Pienaar will be wearing the royal blue shirt again next season, hopeful that a deal with Spurs to bring him back on a permanent basis can be done.

Peanuts would love to make that deal permanent but it will all depend on whether or not Everton can come to an agreement with Spurs.

First team coach Jimmy Lumsden believes that Pienaar has realised how good a fit the club were for him.

Jimmy said: 'He lifted the dressing room on his return.'

'They know he's a really good player and him and Bainsey play so well together.'

'Steven is so enthusiastic in his training and everything he does.'

'He is a quiet boy and if you didn't know him you wouldn't expect much, but when he steps on that pitch he has got a fantastic attitude.'

'Some people think the grass is greener when they go, but some clubs are made for you. Steven is made for Everton.'

'It's up to Spurs whether he comes back. He is their player and we just hope something can happen.'

Peanuts is 'made for Everton', we all hope so.

Richard... Why would Spurs want Anichebe? They didn't fuck up when they sold Pienaar, his head was turned by his agent and he only had 6 months left on his contract. So they would have lost money on him. Also, Spurs do want about 5-6 million for him. He still has 2 years left on his deal with them. I do agree that we need him as soon as though. What about the "sleeping partner" Robert Earle? Does he just own nearly a quarter of the club but have no active role? I hear he's minted (well he's got more money than Bill anyway)! Surely Bill could get a sub off him till next payday. This lucrative new T.V. deal should mean he's good for it! I'm still not sure about his role at the club. Is he just holding shares until they get sold!

I agree Dave, an Aston DBS would probably be better, much nicer looking at least, not sure if its better performance wise but looks wise definitely is. Richy, I think a loan would be the best solution (however your exact words were "So Fuckin BUY him already!!!" not loan him) we get him for another year and as you say Spurs would be glad to get him off the wage bill, plus it would mean next summer his value would be slightly lower. The £6m is just a number been touted on numerous websites and newspapers but as we know they are not always reliable. but I think the fact spurs are notable for being difficult to do business with, as per moyes comment, and them looking at the length of his contract £6m is perfectly viable. I actually thought we sold him for £3m, not £2m, but that was when he was in the last year of his contract. I'd imagine spurs would want at least that plus a little on top seeing as they are not at risk of losing him for nothing. As for who we get in to replace, I don't know as Pienaar would be my first choice anyway. I really want us to get him, I was just saying it is not as simple as saying 'buy him already' and then its done. Dont get me wrong, I want the lad and I want to get him in as soon as but things are not always that black and white in football. Season ticket wise not sure how many extra we'd get as we are already well pat the 20k mark as per Elstones blogs on the official site and we would be limited to the numbe we can actually sell (like that time we actually sold out a few years back, I think it was 27 or 28k), so the extra season tickets would probably bring in £1m - £1.5m (bearing in mind a number of them would only cost £95 or £199). Like I said I want to get him so its not like I'm disagreeing with you, just saying it isnt so straight forward. If we try to loan him because we cant afford a transfer fee then sunderland for example pop up with a £5m bid what do you think spurs will do? But like i said in my first post, here is to hoping we do get him!

Paul, we dont have to even buy him we can loan him again, Spurs have a massive wage bill and getting someone to take a player you are paying 85k a week will be a relief for them as his arse has been parked on the bench and the Injury room since he left us... they have G.Bale and even I would think twice about dropping him to play peanuts as good as he is... Where did you come up with the £6m for him, we gave him away for £2m and they havent used him only in the Fa Cup and 2 games in Europe last season...hardly been in the window to show anyone let alone us he is worth splashing out that much to get him back... Question for you, Who do we get to replace him? and at what price? Think season ticket sales once we have him back...full house at Goodison every game with the prospect of getting off to a great start against Utd... Your choice of car speaks volumes mate.. Aston Martin over rides your choice anyday....

Piennar makes a big difference to everything about us but, I fear, he is not interested in Everton (or any club ) unless they pay him what he wants - that's why he left us; he is mercenary, and will go to the club prepared to pay him the highest wage (worth remembering that his real agent seems to be God!!). Great player in the Everton mould under DM. However he decided to move on to pastures new. We all told you that the grass was not greener, so if it dont work out you only have your self to blame. All you idiots thinking he is a must buy just put's his price up.

Paul H - got to challenge your logic there. Surely you'd prefer a Bentley or an Aston? A lot more stylish than a Murcialago. (Please note - there is no football mataphore in this post).

Couldnt agree more with Richard Styles, Kirkdale . Why every year do we piss about and wait until gobshite clubs like Newcastle or Villa chase our targets because their scout system is shite and they know we do our homework. We want him. He wants us. Get the deal done!

Richard Styles that is a lot easier said than done. First of all Spurs want top dollar for him, which Everton haven't got. Its all well and good saying just buy him already but when you haven't got the money thats not possible. I want a Lamborghini Murcialago but if i haven't got the money in the bank I cant just go out and get one. Spurs are said to be after £6m for him, we haven't got £6m in the bank so cant pay it. Hopefully when Moyes gets back from the Euros he can sort out deals to sell Victor and Yobo and bring in a few mil there, maybe then we might be able to get peanuts in, heres to hoping it happens.

Really hope this deal can happen. With Harry now kicked out of Spurs it is more likely it will go ahead. We love you Peanuts. By the way I have £200 @ 60-1 on us finishing top 4.

So Fuckin buy him already!!! Do the deal now, instead of waiting until the last minute when someone else sticks in a higher bid....costing us more money in the long run... Make a bid and see what happens! Typical Everton...fucked up when they sold him and doing the same when trying to get him back!!! Throw in Victor to sweeten the deal... BET YOU HAVE NO SEASON TICKETS LEFT ONCE YOU SIGN HIM....
