Landon On The Move

Landon Donovan has put his house up for sale, therefore he is moving to Everton according to reports!

Forbes.com reported that Landon had put his home in Manhattan Beach, Los Angeles on the market for 4.3m Dollars and hinted that he may be seeking a permanent move back to England. Cue mayhem, he's coming back!

He has already had two successful loans to Everton plus a spell at Bayern Munich and still wants to prove himself outside of the MLS.

Landon's first spell at Goodison was spectacular with him scoring twice and making three assists in the 10 games he played. The highlight being against eventual Champions Chelski when he helped Everton to a 2-1 victory, scoring one, making one and getting a penalty which King Louis missed.

We would all love Landon back. Captain Phil even threatened to kidnap him!

If he comes back then surely it will be to Everton but a house for sale means he's coming back? If it is anything like UK house sales then we could be waiting a long time.

That song springs to mind! I don't care how you get here, just get here if you can! Bluenoseronnie well said mate! If everthere was a me to dig deep for the manager it's now! With Nace and Jel we'll have a complete set of forwards! Nuts, Screech, Gibbo and The Don in the middle will set the pitch on fire! Hibbo turned good with Jags, Buzz n Baines will keep the back door locked tighter than a Nun's.. erm head lock! Yes this seas could be the one we'e been waiting for! And e won't even hav poor old Harry trying to poach every interst we have!

Just seen him coming out of the Chepstow with a pair of shades on, you could tell it was him by his sun tan and his teeth

Landon on the right , Pienaar on the left , a new emerging Barkley in the middle supported by Fellani , Gibson ,Rodwell and maybe Naismith on a free and Ossie as well. Maybe we will have something to hope for after all.Jelavic up front an emerging Vellios a very solid defence already. 8 to 10 million£,s to make it happen.Time for the board to support the manager?

Dear expectant fans ! Lets put ourselves in Landons position, he is 30 years old and time is not on his side with regards to sorting out his playing career in the Prem. If i were him i would be thinking one last hurrah in the Premiership with Everton on a permanent basis would be an experience he would regret if not doing, if it doesnt happen soon it never will, these temp fixes in January are not the answer, of course we love him, but then we lose him. Something very very important that i havent seen mentioned, due to the standard of the MLS, players ply their trade there well into their 30's. Landon could sign a 3 years contract to play for us and STILL go back to LA Galaxy at 33/34 and playout his final years there. With this in mind start singing Yankie Doodle Dandy Regards The King of Wishful Thinking

Dont know if anyone has seen but he tried to put his house up for sale in 2010 as well for $4.5m but took it down again which looked like because the price had bombed or couldnt sell. The house price has gone back up again recently so he is selling again. Dont read too much into it (no harm in a bit of hope though, would love to see him back). Check the link for yourselves.....http://www.zillow.com/homedetails/3305-Pine-Ave-Manhattan-Beach-CA-90266/20418634_zpid/

there is a vast, mostly untapped, source of talent in the U.S. Hope we have a scouting network set up there
