Naismith Found It Hard To Leave Rangers
Bookmark and Share

Steven Naismith is delighted with his transfer to Everton, however he has said it was a massive wrench to leave Rangers Football Club which will always be in his blood.

Nace said: 'I spent the best years of my career so far at Rangers.'

'It was a big decision that had to be made. I'm glad that it's done with now and I can work on the football side of things.'

'There is going to be disappointment with some fans and others are going to wish me well. I've had both.'

'But it's a relatively short career and you have to maximise your opportunities. I think this is definitely the next step for me and the right one.'

You've spent the best years 'so far' Steven, now you are at Everton it gets even better.

I remember in the 80's when they pinched 2 of our best players because we couldn't play in Europe, now we had pinched 2 of theirs because they cant play in the SPL they are moaning. What comes around goes around, even if it does take 25 years. COYB

Welcome to Everton and the big time. Hope he and Jelavic hit it off again. Naismith can only get better as player playing in a stronger league.

good luck Steven and good luck Everton. Big Jela will be rubbing his hands as him and Naisy were sensational at the gers. He was a blue nose and still is a blue nose.
