Peanuts Makes Us Better
Bookmark and Share

We all delighted that Peanuts is back where he belongs. There is no question he was brilliant when he came back in January.

Let's hope he keeps that form going and gets us off to a better start than usual.

Phil Neville reckons that Steven makes Everton a better team and he is thrilled we have got him back.

Phil said:"The way he played last year, he came back and seemed even better than he was in his first spell at the club. He lights up the place, there's no question about that. The players trust him, the manager trusts him and he makes us a better team.

"We all rely so much on him and I think he thrives on that sort of responsibility. I love him as a player. You can give him the ball in any position and he takes the ball and makes others around him play.

"Without being a great talker or being demanding of people, his body language and the way he leads by example on the pitch is fantastic."

Blues have all commented upon his understanding with our Bainsey, so now he is back with a contract for 4 years lets hope this flourishes. Keeping our Bainsey is of course necessary!

My summer (if you can call it that) was transformed when the little nutty genuis decided to re-sign. Okay 1.5 million out of pocket after we sold him for 3 does grind me a little, but he is so so important for us. I can now start to dream of beating the RS and getting into Europe again. COYB!
