Nace Will Solve Everton Goal Problem
Bookmark and Share

Phil Neville is getting excited about the team set up for the coming season. He is certainly chuffed that we got Steven Pienaar back and he believes that new fella Steven Naismith can make a serious impact on the team.

We need as many as we can to help Jela up front. Phil thinks Nace could be the man to get them. Let's hope you're right skipper.

Phil said: "The other boys like him and he's popular. I think with Steven we have just got to be patient. He has been out of football for a long time.

"However there is obviously a great understanding between him and Jelavic from their time at Rangers and we have seen that in training. He's a goal threat and he offers something different to what we have already.

"I think he fits nicely into the balance of the team, he can play in a number of positions and he looks an Everton player to me."

"Both Naismith and Pienaar, who is a massive player for us to have back, have come in and provided competition in the forward places. Goalscoring was a big problem for us up until Jelavic came in and obviously there is big expectation on him.

"But he's going to need help. To think he's going to go on and keep scoring at the rate he did at the back end of last season is going to be a big ask.

"He's going to need support but I think he will get that from the players we have now got. The great thing is that they are good footballers. Pienaar, Naismith and Leon Osman are all similar in style and will make us play better and I think we are in good shape."

the thing is he plays just behind the striker and moyes will play him right midfield and as you seen when we played Malaga he didnt play that well but when you seen him play AKA Athens he scored a hatrick lets just hope that moyes doesnt crack his head up and play him in the wrong posistions because he is a big tallent COYB

It's good to see some Glaswegians come on and give a few encouraging words. Glasgow Rangers will rise like a phoenix from the ashes stronger than ever.

Looking tasty for this season. But let's sort Manure and put a stake in the ground for a great season.

Now we need a top class central defender, and how about Jordan Rhodes to make a trio of front men?

As a Rangers fan I'm obviously disappointed at losing both Jelavic and Naismith. Jelavic has already started to show what he can do but Naismith is a bit special and I'm looking forward to watching them team up for Everton this season.
