Johnny To Fight For His Place
You can say we are lucky to have three top centre backs at Everton. You could pick any two from three and you could trust them to do a job.
On Monday night David Moyes decided it was the turn of Jags and Sylvain. They were both absolutely magnificent against United so it must have been difficult for Johnny Heitinga to miss out. But Jonny is determined to give his all and fight for his place.
On his Twitter page Johnny said what we all want to hear.
Johnny said:"I will fight for my position and stay at Everton. Everton is a big club. A club where I feel really well."

When he first arrived I thought we were just a stop gap in his career. I'm glad he has stuck around. We need competition and cover. Hope he is still at Everton when Distin finally calls it a day. Nice on Johnny!!!
