Everton legend, Neville Southall turns 54 today and is happy with the progress made by David Moyes side.
Big Nev thinks the goals scored by Nikica Jelavic will be key to Everton making a charge for a top four spot.
Southall said: "Everton lacked goals but they have addressed that with Jelavic. It's been a while since someone scored twenty goals in a season - but he could be the man to do that.
"He's a striker where you can defend well all game and then he'll score a goal. He reminds me a lot of Ian Rush. He only needs one chance and he will score.
"He scored on his debut and he looked like an instinctive finisher from the start.
"You're never surprised when he scores. When other players go through on goal you are never sure and it could end up being a miss. But if the ball falls to Jelavic, it's a goal."
"I expect Everton to finish fourth. It will still be City, United, Chelsea, then I think there is a place for Everton. It's up for grabs."
