My Team mates Are Really Cool With Me

Super Kev Mirallas is enjoying life at Everton. The 24 year old has scored 3 goals in his 5 starts for The Toffees since his arrival in the Summer.

He was involved in the first two goals on Saturday against Southampton and now the Belgium International is wanting Everton to press on and stay in the top four.

Super Kev said: "It's going a lot better than I could have hoped for. The settling in period has been a lot shorter than I thought it was going to be.

"That's because of various reasons. My team-mates are really cool with me, they have been great with me. They talk to me a lot and support me a lot.

"The other big factor is that I've spent a lot more time on the field and played in more games than I thought I might have done at first.

"I'm still not quite there physically. I still need a good run of games to be 100% fit. I had a chat with the manager when I first came here and he was fully aware that I hadn't a full pre-season because I'd had a problem with my knee. I'm trying to catch up on that by playing games.

"I knew before I signed about the physical aspect of the Premier League. I was mentally prepared for that before I even came here.

"One of the advantages of the way I play is that I am quick, so I try to avoid those hard challenges that skilful players with ability like myself tend to attract.

"Before I signed, I was looking at the Europa League being a more realistic ambition. But certainly now as the season has got under way, we have got a good crop of players here and are playing some really nice football.

"It's fantastic that we are second and our ambition now has to be stay up there and put pressure on those around us. It's a long season though and there's a long way to go, so we'll have to see what happens."

Kevin Mirallas is in. Rodwell's gone. It isn't complicated. If Mirallas keeps this up we won't miss Jack at all. We'll see what happens when the older pros get used to Mirallas's style of play. For the time being though he's mustard :o)

Apologies to all if you didn't like my comment. I just recall seeing Rodwell saying "it was a dream come true joining city"?? Really?? Yes we got good coin but don't kid us by saying his dream was always to play for city!! I love Everton, I have respect for all those who have played for our great club but I have to chuckle when one lad leaves for so called better things and we get an amazing replacement for half the price. Good luck at City Rodders. COYB

I also feel bad for Rodders as his career will probably go down the pan at Man City. Think we should take him back on a cut price deal in a couple of years time, bring him back home where he belongs.

Also agree with Doug, Rodders always did his best for our great club. Good luck to him, just not too much in the games against us ;o)

Loz (#4) although I respect your new found enthusiasm for Everton's new signings and all the progress we've made since our windfall off the Jack Rodwell sale to ManCity, I thought I'd remind you that Roders was a true Evertonian and worked his but cheeks off for Everton! He never courted with the tabloids insinuating that he'd be up for a move to a wealthier club "Some Day" like certain Divas we know! And he could have made it easy for the likes of ManU to knick him for almost nothing for better wages but it's not in him to do so! So how's about showing some respect to the lad who through his hard work earned us some decent coin to actually go out and sign a few players for once! It was a "Win Win" for both clubs selling Roders! Let's just leave it at that and wish the guy all the best away from Goodison Park!

I just want to take this chance to thank Man City for the 12m EFC received for Jack Rodwell......ha ha ha ha ha ha!! Mugs, more money than sense, he's done so well for City?!?!?!? Super Kev is ten times the player Rodwell will ever be. Well played EFC for the fantastic business and well played Super Kev, loving the football. COYB!!

With the current crop of players Belgium have, and we are blessed with 2 of them, then it might be worth a litte bet on them for Brazil 2014. If Kev really is short on his fitness then we really do have a player on our hands.
