I Know Exactly Where He Wants The Ball
Bookmark and Share

Kevin Mirallas is loving it at Everton at the moment.

Another assured performance in the 3-1 win over Southampton, saw the Belgium international slip a pass into Nikica Jelavic's path for the Everton goal machine to score.

The 24 year old is confident he can continue to put the ball on the plate for Jela to score, starting at Wigan on Saturday.

Super Kev said: "My style of play is to put balls into the box in front of goal and get crosses in whenever possible, and I know Nikica is always going to be on the end of them.

"I know exactly where he wants the ball, in front of him and into space. That's how I created one of the goals. Playing alongside a striker like that is a massive help."

"I spent a lot of the time playing on the left-hand side of attack last year, more attack than midfield.

"But we all know that Steven Pienaar is doing a fantastic job down that side. The manager is lining me up on the right side at the moment but I feel very comfortable out there also.

"While things are working out like that, then I couldn't be happier. I'm very much at ease on that side."

Paul (com#6) Felli can be frustrating as hell up front when he doesn't pass the ball to his team mates in better positions! And you can't deny we've missed more chances than he's scored goals in those given opportunities! Anyway most of his goals comes from corner set pieces with his sublime headers! The force of nature called Marouane Fellaini when we get a corner is Irrepressible! (Or Iwwepwessible if you're a Monkey Magic fan!) To utilise our player in the best possible taste, Kev n Jelly up front would be a dynamite combo up front! And When Felli gets his "Fro On" and spreads a lil magic dust back in CM with Gibbo the back 4 and Howard will finally be able to un-bunch and breathe a sigh of relief! But... Having said all that, if Chelsea comes in with Moyesies asking price of say...cough £30 million pounds (He says with his Austin Powers finger out!) I won't lie to you Paul, I'd be ecstatically happy farting rainbows at the other end of that pot of gold!

Don't know who Doug has been watching!! Need Felli holding? Sure we miss Gibbo but Felli is the most effective player in prem behind the striker and Ossie most under rated in prem and doing a great job. Howard doing ok, couple of mistakes but cant be faultless all time. Seen a few mistakes from central defence, but what a start. Keep it up. Hope Gibbo is back soon and we sign Ofoe in Jan.

Letting the lad wander where he wants shows confidence in him.

I'm probably asking for it here but I think... until we get the likes of Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe signed ( AKA.... Ofoe FcUKsake Sign Already!) or someone of his calibre, we need Fellaini in CM holding position with Gibson. Yes Kev's fitting in nicely on the right but wouldn't he be more useful behind or (dare I say it) alongside Jelly =O (after all, he is 1st and foremost a striker) and I'm sure Nace /Oz can do RM easy! For me this would be our most secure formation (If Felli don't sulk) protecting the back four and Shaky (sorry Howard xD) while allowing our strikers to clean up up front.

He is the kind of player who can Cause Chaos and as we have already seen he will run and run, Coleman needs to study his style and pick up an understanding, as sometimes he is getting caught attacking. At last we are not all worrying where the next goal chance is coming from and our creative play is starting to look impressive. Lets just hope it continues and they all show their best for the Derby

You've gotta love the way Kev's settled into the side. Shows how well Moyes selects his targets, and the feel-good factor which must be running through the squad at the moment. I did like seeing Coleman and Mirallas linking up down the right last week, giving us attacking options down both flanks. But with Kev's tendency to go wandering inside and Coleman's suspect defending, the pair need to work hard to be as settled as Pienaar and Baines.

Shhhh, say it quietly, but this has the early signs of a Sharp/Heath type partnership. Exciting times ahead for the Blues.
