Gibson Could Be Fit For QPR

Darron Gibson was injured in the 2-0 defeat at West Brom 1st September. The first prognosis was that his thigh injury could keep him out of action for 3 to 4 weeks. Here we are into the seventh week and at last a bit of good news.

Gibbo had a scan yesterday and it give him the go ahead to get back into serious training. With the next game at QPR not scheduled until Sunday, it gives the Republic of Ireland midfielder a chance of being ready for that game.

On Twitter @D_gibson4 said, 'Scan went well 2day #buzzin'.

Will Gibbo be back for QPR or will Moyesy keep him back for the Derby game? What do you think?

Need gbson back in the squad against the shite but also need jags and heitenga as centrebacks,Last season the racist run distin ragged which i feel jags would deal with him better(not slating distin as i like him) as for coleman RB id rather seehibbo there anyday coleman looks way out of his depth he seems to take players on ten do a McFaden and just run into players. Hibbo solid and not afraid to put himself in a challenge he may get injured in to win the ball for the team. Lets just do the shite over and im happy

Fellaini wil not play. Team I would pick Howard, Neviile, Jags, Distain, Baines, Coleman, Johnny, Osman, Pienaar, Mirallas, Jelavic

Paul 12. so who would play instead of Coleman.. Hibo? Hibo never has been or every will be a Prem class. Coleman is hopefully a new breed of Everton player, who is fast and confident going when forward (and he can defend). Hopefully the days of Evertonians thinking someone is a good player cos they work hard or chase down full backs are going. we should be entertained and cheer a team of players who are brave to want th ball and can actually play football.

Paul you say you wouldn't drop Coleman. I wouldn't have him any where near the first team he's useless. A championship player at best. The amount of goals he costs us. He's a liability we can't afford him in our side. Watched him the other night for Ireland totally out of his depth. Like he is in the prem. Get rid.

He won't rush him back - and quite right, too. We do have a problem in midfield, where we need a mobile ball-winner, who can pass quickly. Darron Gibson is none of those things. Neither for that matter is Ozzy or Phil. Johnny Haitch has two of those qualities but his legs have either gone or are going, quickly. Marouane is the answer - and I'm not sure he doesn't prefer to play the game facing their goal rather than with his back to it. I also agree with Paul H - the sooner we see Conor McAleny the better. Nice'n'tight boys, stuff those hoops and on, confidently, to deal with the shite.

Gibbo is the kind of player you don't miss until he's not there. I think he's found an ideal midfield partner in Felli. Gibbo does the hard work and supports Felli in the flash stuff, so I reckon they need each other. It's true Gibbo's a limited player and you can see why Ferguson let him go, but he's ideal for us in our present circumstances and he looks like a good modest professional player to me. The sooner he's back the better.

Pat, what a cheery soul you are. He keeps or shape helps us transfer quickly from defence to midfield. I wouldnt play him unless 100%. My team would be: Howard, Jags, Distan, Baines, Pienaar, Jonny, Osman, Kev, Felliani and Jela. Jonny on Taarabt

If his performance against the shite in the semi last season is anything to go by, he can stay on the bench.

Get him back in asap, he makes our midfield gel. As soon as he went off against WBA you could see the difference. Hope he's fit enough for a start cos QPR is gonna be a hard game and we could really do with getting a result there to keep our momentum up.

It is broke. Neville and Osman together in Midfield have been poor. If Gibson would of been fit and in this team we'd have more points on the board. Definitely. Don't rush him but as soon as he's ready get him back in in place if Neville. Can't come soon enough.

Terry in Gosport, your logic is right but you contradict yourself. If the team wins dont change it, unfortunately we did not win our last game so based on your logic we need to change the team for the QPR game. In my opinion, and based on the Wigan game, we should start Buzz in place of Johnny. I rate Johhny but at the moment and in the last game he isn't on form. Also I would take either Neville or Osman out of centre mid, if Gibson is the one to come in then it would be Neville coming out for me as we would be too defensive if we left Neville and Gibson in. If Moyes wants to keep Neville in the team it would have to be right badk, but I personally wouldn't want to drop Coleman especially against QPR. Defensively he has a lot to learn but he offers a lot more going forward than Neville or Hibbert. Howard, Coleman Jags Buzz Baines, Mirallas Gibson Osman Pienaar, Fellaini Jelavic would be my starting XI for QPR. Get McAleny on the bench and try to get him some game time last 15-20 mins if we can afford to.

Seven weeks is a long time without a game, I wouldn't rush him back six days after a good scan ! Give him two weeks full training under his belt and get him back in for the shite !

Moyes should play him in the QPR game and get as many points as we can get before the derby. I hate to say it but although we are n form and liverpool arn't, form doesn't come into these games and it will be a very tough game as always.

I would expect an unchanged side against QPR. If we win that, then keep the same side with Gibson on the bench ..... "if it aint broke, dont fix it"
