Who Will Step Up?

The sending off of Steven Pienaar was a real body blow yesterday and his one game suspension obviously means he misses Sunday's game against the redshite.

It will be interesting to see who David Moyes will play down the left hand side.

Tim Howard thinks Peanuts will be a big miss but it will give someone the opportunity to step up to the plate.

Tim said: "Missing Steven Pienaar through suspension is still a huge loss but we have gotten much better. Guys are going to have to fill in that role and hopefully fill in a positive way.

"He's a big miss but we will get on with it, have a good week of training and figure out the system we want to attack them with and someone is going to have to fill in."

Who do you think will play on the left?

Going to the game Sunday. Cant wait!!!! We need to break this curse that we have against them and get a resounding win. That means going for it from the start!!!! Naismith hasn't shown me anything I wouldn't start him. Gamble on Fellaini / Gibson. We need this game!!!! Badly!!!!!

Mike D is right We are playing great stuff and just need to carryon and believe in who ever is wearing the shirts. They won't fancy this if we play with the passion, flair and tempo we did against Man U and Skunks. I'd stick with Seamus at right back with Super Kev in front of him. Obviously hope Felli is back. Don't think he'll risk Gibbo yet and certainly not Hitz. Oviedo in front of Baines. Felli, Nev and Ossie CM. If Felli is out bring Nace in. Big Vic, Johnny on bench. Relax fellow Blues they are struggling and Rodgers has a poor record against us.

We havent even played the shite yet and already we are cursing our luck and wondering by how many we get beat is it just me who noticed the heavy fall down to reality they have suffered? They are crap end of!! If we are up for it we win hands down they can only cheat and cry for so long! Were F***ing EVERTON arent we!!! and we can play it on the carpet or play it in the air whichever way we play it we play it fair and square!! Yes i did just quote were forever everton! Joe Allen is a welsh rodwell hes a crab. They have sterling suarez and gerrard 3 players who have talent to hurt us but weve got Jelavic a top class CF Baines quality attacking fullback Super Kev is unbelievably quick and if Felli an Gibson fit then we have the best CM partnership in the prem in my opinion! Theyre not that good and we need to start believeing we are that good cos we have a proper chance at something this year and i would love to see us win something and be there when it happens!! No chance. Magaye won't even get on from the bench. We will be all out defensive in this derby game. Howard, Hibbert, Distain, Jagielka, Baines, Coleman, Neville, Heitinga, Mirallas, Fellaini/Osman, Jelavic.

He took chances against Leeds.....................

Mirallas will start on the left. Although difficult to work out the rest of the team when we dont know if Gibbo, Hibbo and Felli will be be able to play.

It's a hard one this. I guess Naismith or Gueye. Sorry to be pessimistic but with an entire missing midfield I can only see this going one way. It WOULD happen for this match wouldn't it. :o(

Gueye? In a derby? Are you serious? If neither Felli nor Gibson are available, I would go with: Howard, Hibbert, Jags, Distin, Baines Anichebe (shudder), Osman, Neville (shudder), Mirallas Naismith Jelavic If Felli is fit he goes in for Big Vic, for me, with Naismith reverting to RM. Gibson would be a straight swap for Neville - even if he's only half fit. I'd rather give Oviedo a game on the left than play Gueye.

Maggie isn't good enough, remember the semi final? He was anonymous. Osman or Oviedo.

This is no game in which to take chances - Oviedo. Then Bainsey can overlap knowing he's covered. But will he stiffen the midfield with JH or Hitz? He needs to. And will Felli be there? If so, DON'T play him up front.

Its a big blow, but we've got players, who given the chance will put in a bloody good shift, especially against the redshite. I'd preferably like to Hitzlspeger in the centre with Ozzie and Gueye on the left and Mirallas on the right. With Anichebe upfront with Jelavic. That's what I'd like, but we know Moyes will play negative defensive football at home against a team who aren't exactly good at the moment. i do love moyes, he just needs to be more adventurous. COYB!! FTRS!!

Fellaini will replace Pienaar, with Mirallas moving to the left. If Fellaini not fit we will probably see Johnny H alongside, Neville. 1/4/2/3/1 formation to flood midfield.

Hibbert to right back if fit. Coleman to right mid and Ossie to left side. Won't be able to cope with an athlete like Johnson, and if Rodgers had a brain he would allow Downing to play right to cut in, and take Ossie out of the game completely. Good job he is incompetent. Still, Jags 1-0 win

Moysie could try Oviedo at left back and Bainsy on the left wing. Or put super Kev wide on the left. Someone will have to make way for Gibson and Felli as well.

I really hope its not Magaye. One assist against Sunderland and fuck all else in his Everton career. Anyone but him.

Am I missing something, but isn't Oviedo the obvious replacement for Piennar? I thought that's why Moysey bought a versatile left-sided player.

Naismith would be a good choice. He is used to the derby atmosphere. Gueye freezes on the big occasions.

Mirallas on the left, Nais on the right, hopefully Felli & Gibson will be back

Moyes wont ever take chances - it will be Osman on the left, end of.
