Everton are to extend Ross Barkley's loan to Sheffield Wednesday on a week to week basis. David Jones has played Ross in seven games so far for the Owls.
This maybe seen as a surprise to some Evertonians. Especially with the suspension of Steven Pienaar for Sunday's derby game.

Moyes has got it wrong in not bringing RB back.
And as a civil engineer sat on my @ss in an office, I'm sure I know more than Moyes about these things.

Ross isn't ready yet. I think he knows it himself judging by what I saw in the Wednesday V Leeds game. I don't think he's mentally tough enough or self confident enough yet. He's definitely got the talent, now he has to prove it. On the whole I think Moyesie makes the right call on this.

Can't understand how 17 year old stirling can play for the red shite, and we send ross 18 out on loan, for gods sake give the lad a go, lets see how good he is.

Agree with Brian, given the injuries and now suspension, we should have brought the lad back and put him at least on the bench if not straight into the team. COYB !!!!

Get him back. Too good a talent to be getting kicked all over the park every week in the championship.

With injuries and suspensions I cannot understand why Ross isn't getting his chance to establish himself in the first team.

I watched the Sheff Wed v Leeds game on Friday. Moysey was at the match. RB showed some classy touches, but he was reluctant to chase back and, I thought, he looked slightly unfit. I am not surprised that he is still at Sheff Wed; games in the Championship will toughen him up.
