Mirallas Happy His Mate Will Be Playing In The Derby

Kevin Mirallas is looking forward to his first Merseyside Derby match.

The Belgian international thinks that his fellow country man, Mauroune Fellaini will be fit for the game on Sunday. Kev bumped into Snouty as he was putting some rubbish in the bin.

Super Kev said: "I think he will be playing on Sunday.

"He is a fantastic player and when he's not there it's harder for the team to get good results.

"It's also good to have Marouane available because he is scary for the other team. People in the opposition fear him.

"It will be really important for him to play. He would be a psychological asset."

Its getting a bit Toffeeweb here, hinting at Moysie's purported deficiencies. DM knows what he's doing, he sees the players every day in training - I trust that the decisions he makes will be the right ones. As for all the neville stick, the fella gives his all, and whilst increasingly limited in terms of his ability I consider his experience and fight is invaluable. COYB!!!

I hope Osman shows up for this derby. He's been absent for all the others.

@ David no. 3 - Pienaar is suspended mate. It should be a no brainer really and start Bryan Ovieda on the left. The kid but be doing something in training as he's come on as sub a couple of times in last few games ahead of other midfielders like Gueye, Naismith. I don't think Fellaini should start in CM unless were absolutely need him, as he was woeful against Leeds when he played there this season and is such an attribute when playing off Jelavic. Have Mirallas on right as useless and he will coome inside and support Fellaini and Jelavic as he's done all season. COYB

We must play our game but withou fear and start as strong as possible, which means Hibbo back ,Felli CM, Jelly CF, then its a case of Osman, Seamus, Capitan Phil. Whatever, we must learn from the past, and believe.. It's inborn of late to lose before we start v Derby. Let's get in to them and feed Jelli, and Kev to run their backs round.. Middle field is key, v QPR, we rarely had one.. DM will realise this time..Whats Our Name? IMWT.

Its a cert that moyes will start with neville, as i said after the shambles that was the semi final last season moyes doesnt know what to do against liverpool, lets just hope he proves me wrong an repays all the fans after the joke of last season an we get the three points an make the red sshite cry all the way back to norway!!! I hope Felli starts as he is the only one who's big and bad enough to take on Gerrard - the DJ shadow boxer only ever produces against Everton. Osman & Neville on the other hand would get shagged by him in the middle. Anyhow, The Sh*te are due a good pasting from us. COYB!

I think Dan summed it up quite nicely.

Well said Doug. I think he should play there every game even when Gibbo is fit, but moyes loves playing midfielders up front for some reason. But defo for sundays game he has to play in the middle coz if its Nev & Ozzie liverpool will have a field day !! Preying Victor doesnt start but i can see Moyes playing him somewhere.

Would start MF in CM as comment #1 said with Leon. Mirallas just behind Jelavic in a free role. Pienaar on the left, Seamus on the right. Nerves are starting already. Hate Derby games. We always lose it mentally.

Ill bet my house on it that Moyes starts Neville in midfield and if he does its game over. Sorry lads but its true. Moyes blind loyalty to players like Neville and Osman is doing my head in. Give other hungry players a chance. Neville looks like he is going to have a heart attack every time he recieves the ball and his nervousness spreads to players around him. Get Felli back in the mid and start with just Jella up top. Naismith should start on the right as Anichebe was woeful against QPR. Cannot see him being here past next season. We should be able to turn them over if Felli plays. If not prepare for a twat of a Monday.

Would love him to take his old place back in CMF (that's if we still have one). If we need to chase a goal, lob him up front. Still think we should start Nace on the right. Would like to see Bry on the left this time (remember him?)
