Mirallas Injury Not As Bad As First Thought
Bookmark and Share

Kevin Mirallas was outstanding for Everton in the Derby on Sunday, but was targeted by redshite players and ended up not coming out for the second half with an ankle injury.

Initial thoughts was that the Belgian international would be out for at least a few weeks.

But scans have shown that there is no serious injury and the 25 year old could recover for the Barclays Premier League game at Fulham on Saturday.

With no other injuries from the Derby and Steven Pienaar back after suspension, David Moyes will have a near full squad to pick from.

Even if he's not fit, Naismith was great against the shite and was class at QPR

Fantastic news if Super Kev is back for the Fulham game. We need to start picking up three points again so we can pull even further away from the Shite. That's right Gerrard, there is only one team that plays football in Merseyside. That's why we're above you in the league you steaming turd!! COYB

Standback everybody we are about to take off. Fulham are a team with some good players but I think we are a class outfit in the making, and the current team has yet to show what it is REALLY capable of.

Do not underestimate Fulham. They have been doing well since Jol went there. I would also feel better when Gibbo is back.

Any news on Gibbo's injury? If Mirallas is fit, Gibbo is back, Fellaini back to 100% and Pienaar back from suspension surely them 4 has got to be our midfield for Saturday? Jelavic up front and then its just a case of deciding who plays along side or just off him. Apparently Naismith plays a lot better just off the striker so he could do it, Osman could play in the middle and then there is the option of either him or Felli behind Jela, they could swap throughout the game. Or Do we give either big Vic or Tolis Velios a game up front? I wouldn't mind seeing Velios getting some more game time, even if its just coming off the bench. But I think with a mid four of Pienaar, Gibson, Fellaini, Mirallas we could afford to play 2 up front and not need the 5 man midfield, especially against Fulham.
