Now that Segundo Castillo has left, Louie has given up the famous Everton number 9 shirt for his personal favourite number 8.
Louie says: "I have always favoured the No8 jersey throughout my career, but for one reason or another, it has never been available. When I arrived at Everton last year I wanted to take it, but that wasn't possible. This season it will be available and because I was born on the eighth day of the eighth month, it is a number I can relate to.
I enjoyed wearing the famous No9 shirt and it was a great honour to be handed it when I joined the club. I am aware of the huge tradition associated with the shirt and the great players that have played in it, but my personal preference is to have the No8."
