ROBERT MERION WILLIAMS R.I.P. (31/01/1916 - 04/04/2008)

My dad started going to Goodison with his dad ( who had been a blue from 1878 ) at the age of four. They didn't miss a home match until my dad was called up to fight for his country. He was always a true blue even even when he moved to kent in 1945 . Although he didn't get to many matches, Everton were always deep in his heart. I never really knew this until 4 years ago. My dear friend who was a lifelong Evertonian, sadly lost her battle with cancer. Before she died she gave me her Everton shirt and asked me to follow the blues and keep my faith in them which I have done everyday since. My daughter after a couple weeks started following the boys and soon wanted her own shirt, which she soon got. I can remember the day we both wore our shirts when we went to visit dad and mum, the look on my dads face was a picture, the following weeks my daughter and I heard many tales of dads visits to Goodison, the players the highs and lows. Many a match i took dad ( he was in his early 90's ) to the pub to watch the boys, he could shout as loud as my daughter and I. The look on his face when we went above the R S and took fourth I will remember forever. Resting in peace now with his dad and brothers and my mate Julie. As my dad told me once everton get in your heart they will be there forever. God bless dad xxxx Megan. (10/05/08)

Eddy Seagraves R.I.P. (09.07.1915 to 21.04.08)

Eddy died on 21st April 2008 aged 92. A lifelong blue he had a pint with Dixie which he treasured. He only stopped going to the match 2 years ago because he couldn't get up and down to his seat anymore. I have attached a photo of my dad taken from your website (Top Toffee Ale Houses The Tramway). Best moment was seeing him walk out on the pitch introduced by Joe Parkinson to the crowd at the derby and walking around the ground milking the applause from blues and kopites alike, trouble is he can't remember being on the pitch as he was so nervous he had downed his hip flask before the game! Miss you. Ted. (23/04/08)

Colin Jones R.I.P.

In memory of Colin Jones from Wrexham. A good Evertonian, who died suddenly and unexpectedly at home on 4th April 2008. He loved going to the game with Keiron but found it difficult as time went on due to illness. He leaves behind Tanya, Lindsay, Amy and Keiron, and his grandchildren. Keep the blue spirit going Keiron. R.I.P. Col from Bev, Tim, Tom, Beccy and ya dad Cliff. All the best Fella! (07/04/08)

Michael McHale R.I.P.

This is me and my grandad, Michael McHale, who recently died. He had a season ticket for years and years, brilliant Everton fan, watched them when ever he got a chance, boss man. Life's not the same without him!! It would mean so much if you could put this on as my grandad was a boss Evertonian!! I would greatly appreciate it, many thanks from a big family of Evertonians in Liverpool! x.
Kirsty McHale. (04/04/08)

Robert Eric Godfrey R.I.P.

Robert Eric Godfrey, 61, died on the 23rd of March 2008 following a fight with cancer and rheumatoid arthritis. He was a mad Evertonian. He followed the blues all up and down the country when he was young, often hitch hiking to games to watch his beloved blues play. His favourite match of all time had to be the 1966 FA Cup Final. He was a blue until he died and will be missed by his wife Sandra and children Leanne, Nicki, Cara & David. R.I.P. Dad. A true blue to the end. (04/04/08)
