Paul Mac Remembrance Night

Family, friends and ex Everton players gathered on Tuesday evening in Kirkby to commemorate Paul Macs first Anniversary of his untimely death. Ian Snodin and Joe Parkinson were guests of Macca's family and friends as we ate, drank, and danced the night away. Blue tales were told, and who could forget Snod's re-telling us all of the miracle of the disabled fans from our last day relegation battle with Wimbledon. Joe Parky reminiscing about the day he and his team mates upset the mighty Manchester United to lift the FA Cup.

Sean Styles was the compere for the evening, and as ever had us all in stitches. Highlight of the evening was Captain Lard being presented with the Paul Mac Memorial Shield after the 'old gets' beat Bluekipper FC on Sunday last.

£2000 was raised on the evening, and Paul's family have requested that it be donated to DREAMFLIGHT , a nominated charity of Bluekipper's, a fantastic gesture and many thanks indeed.

Many thanks also need to be given to, The Staff at David Lloyd, Joe Parkinson, Ian Snodin, Sean Styles, Brian Kelly, Tommy & Sandra Coleman and The McComb Family without whom the night would never have got off the ground. See You Again In February 2009.
