On this day in 1994 Everton avoided relegation on the last day of the season by beating Wimbledon 3-2 after being 0-2 down!
A Graeme Stuart penalty just before half-time gave us hope. Waggy gave a rousing team talk during the break (Mike Walker was hiding in the bogs) and in the second half we pulled it off thanks to goals from Barry Hoooooooooooooooorne and a second from Diamond Geezer, Graham Stuart.
What a day, bloody hell it was close but it was great to spoil the kopites parties in waiting! COYB FTRS

Was at the game..What a day,from pants shitting time to a mighty relief..Thank god for diamond and also mark stein..I still don't know what anders limpar was doing for their peno but he made up for it with a great dive for ours..COYB
