Sheedy, Sheedy...

On this day in 1984 the League Champion's elect thrashed Manchester United 5-0 at Goodison Park.

Kevin Sheedy scored a diving header and went off for stitches in his head, came back on only to score again!

Other goals were scored by Inchy, Sharpy and Gary Stevens.

Great day. Great team. They had everything. Skill, flair and could mix it up. Played with the arrogance of knowing they were better than the opposition. Part of our history and makes me so proud to say I witnessed them and proud to say I am a Blue.
