On this day in 1894 we played the shite for the very first time.

Everton won 3-0 in front of a record crowd of 44,000 which included the Lord Mayor (bit like Warren Bradley being in the Upper Bullens for the AJ Derby!).

Goals came from Alex Latta (any relation to Billy?), John Bell & McInnes.
