On this day in 1985 Everton played Bayern Munich at Goodison Park in the 2nd Leg of the Semi Final in the European Cup Winners Cup having drawn the 1st Leg 0-0 in Germany.
Everton were 1-0 down at half-time but the crowd willed Everton on to victory in what was a magificent performance and one of the greatest night's in Everton's history. The Old Lady rocked!
Second half goals from Graeme Sharp, Andy Gray and Tricky Trevor Steven sent us through to the Final in Rotterdam.
What a night!!
