Gerry Peyton

Everton signed Northern Ireland keeper Gerry Peyton on this day back in 1991.

Peyton was signed as cover for Big Nev, but the keeper never played in anger for the Blues after he was signed from Hawwy Wedknapp and his then Bownemouth team.

He went on to be a goalkeeping coach at The Arse, whilst Hawwy is slobbering away somewhere.
