Everton Defender Wanted By Roma
Bookmark and Share

Everton defender, John Heitinga is wanted by Italian side Roma and Johnny's agent Fabio Parisi seems keen on the move.

Fabio Parisi said: "It's an option, which was released only in the last few hours, we've had no contact with Roma, not even formal.

If there is an interest I will speak with Roma sports director Walter Sabatini."

Jonny is one of the biggest disappointments Everton have signed, over 50 caps for Holland and played for some top teams across Europe but i cant even recall him having a decent game for us, sell him Shane Duffy will be a decent back up defender just needs a chance, need a left mid, a right back and atleast 2 top strikers and also a new mentality for Moyes!

Can't wait for him to go he's effing shit. As long as we get him off the wage bill =result. I reckon we flog Billy and John then with the money we have plus the transfer fees from these go for Defoe

HIs agent isn't the only one keen on this move. I'd even take him to the airport myself.

Richie from Dside, Juventus is the Red shite of Italy! Never forget that! Rome is a bit like Millwall (with the fans) but only has a little bit more success! There's no other Team in the world like Everton! But then we all know that dont we!?

I like Johnny but I remember when he signed I thought it would only be a brief stay, just an escape from Athletico. Perhaps if he didn't have Jags and Distin in front of him he would do a job, but it must be difficult to get a run of form going when your almost always on the bench, and when he gets the opportunity the pressure to impress forces errors. I hope he stays but I think this one has some mileage!

Gash. Move him on. Rather see some of the youngsters tried out WITH pace, not this donkey. And a holding midfielder?...please!!!

It speaks volumes about the player when the highlight of his Everton career has been the barge into Ashley Cole. Gutted because I expected alot more from him but if we can get what we paid for him, move him on!

I'm sure we all thought we were buying a great player when JH signed, but I'm sorry to say that for me an d many others he has been woefully underwhelming. Apart from that barge into Ashley Cole in the pemnalty shootout and the goal against Birmingham, he's not exactly set the pulses racing has he? He plays too casually for my liking, but that's probably because he lacks real pace. Lukaka from Chelsea gave him a torris time in the Carling Cup tie and his og at St.James just about summed up his season so far. If we could recoup the fee we paid for him, this is a deal that will surely have to get done.

In my opinion, Roma is the red shite club of Italy, the players Toti and co are all bad characters and the fans are a reflection of this, or vice versa.
