Kenwyne Jones is being linked with a move to Everton. The Trinidad and Tobago international can't get his place in the Stoke side due to circus act Peter Crouch.
Winny (to his mates) would be a great addition to our squad and would cost about £4m.
Even though he may add Buddle to the squad, David Moyes is despeartely hoping to add a striker to the squad.
Would Kenny be your choice?
David Moyes: "I would like to add to my squad if I can. We are certainly short at centre-half right now and I have always said that if we can get a centre forward in then that would be great."

"not good enough for Stoke - not good enough for us"... Really? Maybe in past seasons... But Stoke has enough money to buy Crouch to relegate KJ to the bench. Crouch would be our first choice striker if we had been able to afford him - so the reality is that Stoke, as with most Premiership sides, have better strikers than us. We are not a 'big 4' club anymore, haven't been for some time. Our ambition should hover around survival-mid table and cup runs. Would KJ improve our front line, almost definitely. Is he worth £4-5m, probably. Would Moyes get the most out of him, maybe. Can we afford not to try, no.

We thought Yakubu was a waste of time but a new club, new challenge ask the Blackburn fans.I'm glad he's not playing today.So Kenwyne Jones could be a decent signing, if we have the money.

where are we going to the money from we can't come up with £400 or £500 never mind £4 or £5 mil, although i would like to see him in a blue everton shirt

Who do ya think we should go for then? Rooney, Messi or Ronaldo the list is endless on our budget.

Kenwyne is the kind of player we should be looking at on our current budget, Good in the air, powerful player, plenty of enthusiasm. I would take him now before someone else moves in. COYB

Big strong lad who could hold the ball up front, scores a few too, would definatly fit into our style of play.

Do people think before they post. No to this player no to that player. We are Everton we have NO money. You are wasting your time waiting to be linked with Messi etc.... oh and for the record Jones IMO would be worth a go even on loan as has experience. We need goals from somewhere.
