Academica center forward Ederzito Antonio Macedo Lopes is the latest player to be associated with a move to Everton.

Eddie (to his mates) is a free agent in the summer, but his contract is owned by Academica and Tourizense, his former club, so this may cause a few problems.

We thought Moyesy went to have a look at Adrien Silva, but it now seems that Eddie was his main interest.

@TC, so far 12 this season and is currently joint fifth top striker in the Portuguese league. (Just spotted he didn't play last Friday nights game though) Spoke to some Portuguese friends here and they all reckon Ederzito and Adrien Silva would both do well at a club like Everton.

Deal was very close last night but Eder Lopez failed to meet an everton official who was sent to Portugal to discuss personal terms, the deal is dead.
